Description
Cannabinol isolate, also known as CBN isolate, is a hemp-derived cannabinoid that comes from the cannabis sativa plant. As a weakened version of THC that is about 25% as effective as THC, CBN forms when THC degrades due to heat, air, and/or light exposure.
Although CBN is less-researched than its CBD counterpart, studies and anecdotal evidence point to it being a potentially useful aid for a variety of conditions. Some use CBN as a sleep aid, for pain relief, as an anti-inflammatory, and for muscle and joint pain. Many people report beneficial effects when using CBN in conjunction with CBD, especially for conditions such as fibromyalgia. Additional research suggests that CBN may be a useful aid for helping reduce intraocular eye pressure caused by glaucoma.
