Yerba Mate

Yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis) is a traditional South American holly tree native to Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its leaves are harvested and dried to create a caffeinated herbal tea known for providing a “balanced” energy boost—offering the strength of coffee and the health benefits of tea.

Rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, it is used to enhance mental focus, support weight management, and boost physical endurance. Traditionally, it is sipped from a gourd using a metal straw called a bombilla, serving as a vital symbol of social connection and cultural heritage across the region.
