Arenal Volcano Spore Syringe Details

This Psilocybe Cubensis strain was originally found growing in the foothills surrounding Costa Rica’s Arenal Volcano. These mushrooms have thrived in the warm, humid tropical climate provided by this highly active 7000-year-old volcano. So they’re no stranger to a harsh climate. Indigenous tribes have used Areal Volcano mushrooms in their sacred ceremonies seeking enlightenment for centuries.

In the wild this rare beauty comes in a variety of interesting shapes, but can be identified by their little, golden peaked caps and long stems. This strain is well-loved by beginners and experienced users.

Chitwan Nepal Spore Syringe Details

In the Chitwan region of Nepal, these medium sized fleshy mushrooms are rather easy to find growing wild when the leafs fall in autumn. The mature Nepal strain takes on a fascinating, almost alien appearance when found growing in wilds of Chitwan. A small, 20-70 millimeter cap rests atop a thick, powerful stem, looking a bit like a flying saucer.

The strain produces concave caps with just a touch of cinnamon, while the rest of the fruit is otherwise white. Heavy spore production results in dark purple prints, which contrast in a rather lovely way with the otherwise white gills making this a truly stunning specimen to study.

Not unlike other spores from a subtropical climate, observers will be sure to note how durable the spores are.

Golden Teacher Leucistic Spore Syringe Details

Leucistic Golden Teacher is a mutated Psilocybe Cubensis strain which is believed to have been discovered in the 1980s on a farm in Georgia. In the wild, this is a very robust mushroom with big stems and gills which vary from whitish to purple-brown.

Also known as Lucy, Ghostie, or sometimes Platinum Preachers, these are a leucistic strain of the already widely popular Golden Teacher. Unlike albinism, which results in a total loss of pigmentation due to lack of melanin, leucism retain partial pigmentation.

Leucistic Golden Teachers are a beautiful and rare variety which makes them a great addition to any collection.

Jedi Mind Fuck Spore Syringe Details

The Jedi Mind Fuck Strain is a next gen Psilocybe cubensis. This strain was discovered in the early 2000s by a famous contemporary mycologist, who goes by the name Myco Joe. Apparently what Myco Joe did was isolate a wild cubensis until it became stable and then like any good mycologist would do, he began sharing them with other mycologists.

It’s been said that the name of this strain implies the experience it can cause for those who partake. While we don’t recommend that, experiences with Jedi Mind Fuck have been described as feeling like a transcandental being of pure light. Such experiences must be common, being that this strain consistently shows up on every top 10 list of Psilocybe Cubensis online.

Will The Spores Be Visible Without A Microscope?

Sometimes they are, but it’s because hundreds, or thousands of them are clumped together. You need to use a microscope to be able to see them with any detail- They are microscopic after all.

We recommend that you use one with an adjustable magnification that goes up to 400x, or more. But make sure to view your spores at 100x, 400x, and 1000x for maximum fun! To take pictures with your smart phone, you’ll need to by a special adapter. ( Make sure to send some to us. )

Magic Mushroom Microscopy is a fun hobby, and you’ll be glad that you picked it up. Collect them all and compare the differences between the varieties. They do indeed vary widely. It’s an exciting, and growing new field of research.
